As I mentioned I have been making new things for my craft shows coming up. Here are a few things ready to go.

Micro Cozy Bowls -
Used to heat up food.  Never worry about burning your hands or worrying about dropping your bowl using potholders ever again.  Also, good for holding cold bowls with ice cream.  Keep your hands from freezing.

Finally I am able to post pics of my show at the beautiful Wappingers Historical Society on November 9th! Had a successful show and met a lot of great people. I also taste pumpkin bread for the very first time and it was absolutely delicious! So hope you enjoy the pictures as I have been sewing my little heart out making more things for my upcoming shows on 11/24, 11/30, 12/1 & 12/7.

Quilted Scarf - $30

There were a lot of talented crafter's at this show.  Below are a few paper items that were for sale.  I must say it looks like it would take a whole lot of patience to create these beauties!

I just loved this wreath! It was gorgeous!

I purchased 2 things for myself.  A loaf of delicious pumpkin bread and a beautiful piece of fabric art by Rennee Pasquale - Textile Artist!  She is so talented! She used fabric, threads, and plastic flowers to add a three dimensional look.  The picture sure doesn't do it justice.

YUMMY!

Sew Pretty!

Here is my new art piece in the mist of all my other little collectibles.  I just love cutsie and unique things!

The miniature piece on the left of the art work is also done by Textile Artist - Renee Pasquale.  My mother in law purchased it for me last year and this year I was able to meet the artist herself as well as pick up yet another pretty piece by her.

Sometimes I think the hardest part of being a vendor at these craft shows is not spending more than what you make.  I love handcrafted unique products.  So when I saw this little guy I had to have him.  This little guy is a pin cushion I picked up at the Hudson Valley Artisans Craft Show this past Saturday.  All handcrafted wood and they used really cute fabric for the cushion part.  I had to have the one with the kitty fabric!  I love pin cushions and I guess you can say I sort of collect them so when I saw this one I had to have him. Handcrafted woodwork by Herby's Crafts, Gadgets & Gizmos. I think he is so adorable.  They called it a "Squirtle".

Happy Hump Day All! Just thought I'd post a little something about my first craft show this past Saturday. As always it was a lot of work but fun meeting people and sharing all the goodies I have made to sell.  I love when people admire my work.  It makes me feel happy inside because I truly love what I do and take great pride in it.  I had a very small booth to work with, 8x4 so it was a little challenging displaying my things.  I certainly was not able to put everything out so I did my best.  My husband who is my right hand (sometimes my left hand also) was unable to help me set up so I was on my own.  I almost went into panic mode but I took two deep breaths and tackled my booth and finished setting up in time before the patrons came in for shopping.  Hope you like it!

These are nesting fabric baskets I made.  They were super easy and super fast to make.  I think I may do a tutorial on this one.  You can fill it with anything you want and make them in any size you want.  You can fill them with candy, nuts, potpourri, sewing supplies, buttons and more!
